How do you feel today? I know one month is a very short period of time and almost every human could manage a month of commitment. Yet, today, I had one of my biggest setback ever and I'm not sure I'd be able to be 100% supportive and kind and sweet. The reason is pretty simple, I feel weak and so vulnerable. I feel like the whole world will collapse if I breathe or simply if I open my eyes without crying. I'm not used to whine or complain. Those of you who know me are aware of my story and they know my background. I've been through hell and I'm still there.. almost alive, almost human, almost happy and desperately trying to figure out how to stay positive, how to use my brain to be crystal clear about my sanity... I've used my pain and my scars to create a sacred space like this website for each and every woman who needs a place to be safe, to feel secure, and to get a virtual hug, an empathic ear to listen, a warm shoulder to rest. I wanted you and me to know that somewhere, there is a peaceful heaven where you can rest and get rid of negativity. I wanted to support you as much as I would have love to be supported. I wanted to give you much more than I've even received in my entire life. I've done my best to hang on... to smile when I was crying inside, to be happy when I was dreaming of dying. It's not self pity... it's my hard cruel point of view. Being strong, being capable, being committed, being the only girl who can deal with horror, who is able to endure every little liars that my so called friends want me to hear... is exhausting... It's too much! At the end of the day, I feel fragmented... I feel drained because no one of them were ready to hear my story and to support me. To keep it short, I'll do my best to write you as much as I can... each day, for you, because I do care about you and you deserve my commitment. You are not the reason why I feel so blue. What's up? It's my biggest pitfall... I did not let you down, I was lost in my library... More or less like in the pic above... Books are everywhere in my life until I, recently, opt in for digital books. It's less funny but I have so much room now.... Well, enough said... I've screwed to write the last 2 days but I was really thinking of you. How are your challenge going? Do you feel the excitement of reaching your goals in the next few days? Here are the last duties I've done: I dug into my library to assess what I will keep, what I can give, what I can toss (I had a water damage a couple of years ago and some books have suffered from it more than I wished), what I can sell. I felt lost in a book tsunami and there were tons of books everywhere on my floor with cute labels (I use masking tapes to make them even more kawaii) At the end of my library rev up, I was happy to donate a huge box of books.. I've sold some of them (hmm... I've bought same books several times) Now, we are Thursday, we have 24 days. What are you doing today to make you proud? to make you stronger? to make you feel amazing? to lift you up? Here is my duty: my routine will only be healthy if I am able to get rid of my negative thoughts. I suffer from negative thinking for almost all my life. It holds me back for too long. No matter how hard I try to get fit, healthy and lean, I will only be able to do it if my mind is positive, at least neutral... What's up now? I'd love to know how you feel today. It's Monday and it's time for us to rev up our motivation! How are your doing with your month challenge? I know it could be tough to stay motivated. I even experienced a setback yesterday while I was reading my neewsfeed on Facebook. A woman was claiming that "if you are a nice person, you will attract only nice person in your life" ... What the ?????? It's BS if you want me to be vulgar. If we stretch her hypothesis, it would mean that I deserve to live a crappy life because nothing really amazing happens to me recently??? Are you kidding me? No way, I am.. you are stronger and smarter than those insane psychology. You should never put an emphasis on someone's who does not share your point of view. She may even project her own insecurities on others just to hurt you on purpose. Be smarter, be wiser... Ignore them and stay focused on your goal... your monthly goal. My duty for today was about decluttering my desk, getting rid of paper and make it clean and neat. Love the result. And you? You are enjoying our month challenge. Great! There are 28 day left before Summer and we are in our one month challenge to reach your dream. Today's gonna be short and sweet.. It's sunday, it's a banking holiday and most of us want to rest, relax, and have fun. But, please, do not fall off the wagon... First, you'll be proud of yourself Second, you'll be closer to your goal Third, it won't take long Fourth, well... Do you really need a fourth reason?? You are too smart to need more than three... :) Day-28 is meal preparation... List all my shopping, then find great recipes and see what's going on in my food list for the next week. Well, it's pretty simple because I care about you, your dream, your amazing life and your fantastic goal (You know... the goal you've chosen yesterday. I'm not selfish, I'm focused, committed & dedicated to reach my goals and build my dreaming life. Hi my dear friend! What a treat to be there with you today, only 30 day before Summer, it's our last chance (before the next one) to reach our dreams one step at a time. I know how tough it could be to build the momentum and to move forward no matter what. Ok.. I also admit that I need to move my a..... too to make my commitment really effective. Now, let's see how we, as a team, are going to crush that final month before summer. I've got 3 tips in my bucket! First: Choose only one goal 30 day period is quite short and the worst you can do for your sanity would be to reinvent the wheel by choosing 100 goals to reach in 30 days... No way... You are a grown up, self confident woman, self conscious... [fill the blank with your amazing core values] and you are fully aware that it's better for your self esteem to reach one medium-high goal that dreaming/ "failing" at reaching 100 goals. So... please choose ONE reachable, exciting, funny, challenging goal for the next 30 day! Write it down if you need... Draw a pic of it or even enjoy to share with us in the comment section below. Here is mine: I will implement a routine that will help me to focus on my health and to sustain my journey to happiness. Second: Begin by Brainstorming I challenge you to take a pen and paper to make a list from 30 to 1. Then after each number, choose one action to do each day to move you closer to your goal. Here is mine: Day 30: I have set my alarm at 6.30 to see the sunrise I tend to add a positive, immediate reward each day to help my brain with the twist. If I see only a "Must do" and no reward, I may increase the risk to fall off the wagon. Do not scream, I know how to postpone my rewards too.... I've waited almost 5 years and worked my butt off to earn my PhD... I've saved 3 years of money to buy a gift for my mum 60th birthday... At that particular time, I know myself enough to see that I need immediate, free gratification. It puts a smile on my face and it works perfectly... like a bonus point ;) Third: Schedule it and Do it as soon as possible! I know you my fantastic wonder woman friend... You have been not finishing to read the post yet that you think about the shopping, the next appointment or how you can put a smile on someone's face. Please... for at least 30 days, take at least 30 minutes for yourself and your sanity each day! Do not postpone or delay what matters for you. You are worthy, you are capable of becoming who you want. Do not give up on your dreams because it seems too big to reach. Crush them, one bite at a time and enjoy each victory. What's Next? First, the big news. I'll be posting each day for the next 30 days to be your buddy/ sparing partner/ punching ball/ accountable partner in crime... Fill the blank or choose the one you enjoy the most.
